NCAA baseball super regionals: Recaps, scores, highlights
Men's College World Series set
With Alabama and Oklahoma's super regional wins on Monday, the 2026 Men’s College World Series field is set, and it’s a historic one.
For the first time ever, five SEC teams will be headed to Omaha: Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas and Georgia. Four of the five teams are on the right side of the bracket.
Additionally, 23 different teams have competed in the last three MCWS. North Carolina is the only program to make it twice.

🏆 OKLAHOMA ADVANCES TO MCWS
Oklahoma has finalized the Men's College World Series field, sweeping Kansas to reach Omaha for the 12th time in program history — third time in the 21st century.
It was one-sided domination for the Sooners over the weekend, building off stunning No. 2 national seed Georgia Tech in the regional round, beating the Jayhawks 8-1 and 13-2.
OU jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the third inning of Game 2 yesterday before the contest was suspended and moved to Monday due to lighting delays. They picked up where they left off when play resumed, scoring five more runs before the game's end. Eight players collected a run, seven had an RBI and six picked up at least two hits.
Oklahoma's first round matchup in the MCWS will be against Alabama.
🏆 ALABAMA ADVANCES TO MCWS
Nearly 18 hours after entering a lighting delay, Alabama has finally punched its ticket to the Men's College World Series, finishing off St. John's 7-2.
It will be the school's first Omaha appearance since 1999.

The Crimson Tide and Red Storm were separated by just one run heading into the seventh inning before Alabama's Jason Torres upped the run differential to five through a through a grand slam. The two teams entered a lighting delay in the eighth, eventually suspended and resume Monday afternoon, before the Crimson Tide finished the job.
Alabama will face the winner of Kansas and Oklahoma in the first round of the MCWS on Saturday.

After a dramatic Sunday that saw Georgia, Texas and North Carolina secure their spots in Omaha, only two spots remain as we gear up for Day 4 of super regionals.
💥 How all three teams used game-defining swings to punch tickets to MCWS
No. 7 Alabama and St. John's were rained out in the eighth inning Sunday with the Tide leading 7-2 in Game 2. Alabama sits just six outs away from its first MCWS appearance since 1999. Play in Tuscaloosa will resume at Noon ET.
Over in the Lawrence Super Regional, No. 15 Kansas and Oklahoma were postponed in the third inning with the Sooners holding an 8-1 lead after a six-run second inning. Play in Lawrence will pick back up at 1 p.m. ET as the Jayhawk's will try to mount a comeback to force a Game 3 on their home turf.

🏁 Day 3 of Supers complete! Two matchups remain
Day 3 of super regionals has concluded and three more teams have advanced to the Men's College World Series — two by way of sweep and the other by winner-take-all.
Although five games were scheduled, two were suspended and moved to tomorrow due to lightning delays.
Either way, it gifted college baseball fans some exciting moments. Here's what to know from Sunday's slate:
- Georgia finishes off Mississippi State in thrilling fashion: Packed with home runs, comebacks and celebrations, UGA downed Mississippi State, 11-9, in extra innings behind star Daniel Jackson's go-ahead blast in the 10th.
- Georgia advances to its first Men's College World Series since 2008
- Owen Hull, UNC walk off Southern Cal: The Tar Heels completed a ninth-inning come-from-behind victory on Owen Hull's walk-off double to left center. A pitcher's duel throughout, Hull starred with four doubles in the winner-take-all affair.
- UNC heads to its 13th Men's College World Series and its second in three years.
- Texas outlasts Oregon: The Longhorns staved off Oregon's comeback thanks to Adrian Rodriguez's clutch two-out, two-run bases loaded double in the eighth to win 6-5.
- Texas advances to its 39th Men's College World Series, first since 2022.

🏆 TEXAS ADVANCES TO MCWS
The Longhorns are headed back to the Men's College World Series field for the first time since 2022, outlasting Oregon 6-5 in a contest that wasn't decided until the eighth inning.
Adrian Rodriguez ripped a go-ahead two RBI double down the left field line with two outs and bases loaded to regain the lead for Texas that eventually secured the 6-5 victory.
It marks the Longhorns 39th appearance in Omaha, while Rodriguez finishes with seven RBIs across the two games.

Texas mashed its way to an early 2-0 lead on back-to-back solo shots by Aidan Robbins and Carson Tinney to start the game, and tacked on two more runs in the second to go up 4-0. The Ducks cut the deficit to one quickly by the end of the third and eventually took the lead in the seventh on an RBI ground out.
Rodriguez delivered his clutch hit in the eighth, handing the Longhorns a one-run lead, enough room for Sam Cozart to hold off Oregon over the last two innings.
Texas will face Georgia in the first round of the MCWS on Saturday.
Kansas-Oklahoma suspended until Monday
Game 2 of the Kansas and Oklahoma's super regional matchup has also been suspended till tomorrow at 1:02 p.m. ET because of lighting delays.
The Sooners jumped out to a 8-1 lead by the bottom of the third, inspired by a six run second inning. Play was paused in the third inning with OU's Kyle Branch was up, holding a 3-1 count against Jayhawks reliever Boede Rahe.
The Jayhawks have flipped through three different pitchers so far, hoping to stop the bleeding. Oklahoma leads the series 1-0.
The game will resume at 12:02 p.m. CT tomorrow on ESPN2. Gates at Hoglund Ballpark will open one hour prior to first pitch.

Alabama-St.John's suspended until Monday
Alabama and St. John's Game 2 will be suspended until tomorrow at 12 p.m ET due to the consistent lighting delays.
The Crimson Tide led 7-2 in the top of the eighth before games were paused.
Tonight's game has been suspended and will resume at 11 a.m. CT tomorrow. Gates at Sewell-Thomas Stadium will open at 10 a.m.

The Sooners have raced out to a 7-1 lead, scoring one in the first and five in the second. Jayhawks starter Mason Cook's day ended just 1.1 innings in, giving six runs on just four hits.
Top 2 | Texas 2, Oregon 0
Aidan Robbins and Carson Tinney started Game 2 on a high note, blasting back-to-back home runs to hand Texas an early 2-0 lead.

Alabama and St. John's are still in a lightning delay. It was initially slated to resume at 8:30 p.m. ET, but was again pushed back.
Tonight's contest will not resume before 8:30, as we continue to be delayed by lightning within eight miles of Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

🏆 NORTH CAROLINA ADVANCES TO MCWS
Owen Hull has punched North Carolina’s ticket to the Men’s College World Series, walking off Southern California, 4-3, after trailing by a run heading into the final inning.
Following its Game 1 loss, the Tar Heels won consecutive games to secure the program’s 13th appearance in Omaha.

It was the definition of a pitcher’s duel in Chapel Hill with both teams’ starters delivering high-level performances. Trojan pitcher Andrew Johnson tossed 7.2 innings of work, only giving up two runs on four hits.
ACC Freshman of the Year Caden Glauber made his third start of the season, going 7.1 innings and striking out 11, while surrendering three runs on six hits.
The star of the show, though, was Hull. Outside of the game-winning double, he hit three doubles in previous three plate appearances. He finished with two RBIs.
UNC will face Ole Miss in the first round of the MCWS on Friday.
🏆 GEORGIA ADVANCES TO MCWS
Tied 9-9 heading into extras, Georgia needed a big moment in a big spot.
They had been out scored by Mississippi State 7-2 in the final three innings, but optimistically had the top of its lineup coming up.
And in fitting fashion, star catcher Daniel Jackson sent them back to the Men's College World Series for the first time since 2008, launching a two-run homer to put the SEC foe away, 11-9.

GEORGIA LEADS. FOLEY FIELD HAS ERUPTED
It was the second straight day of epic battles in the most thrilling super regional of this year's tournament, 'feeding the trees' behind Foley Field like clockwork. They combined for 45 runs and 21 homers, the most in a super since BBCOR bats were adopted in 2011.
The two teams traded places from yesterday when it comes to offensive starts. UGA jumped out to a 7-2 lead by the end of the fifth, before Mississippi State exploded five runs in the sixth and seventh, including back-to-back-to-back mashes to make it a 8-7 game.
And it seemed like Jacob Parker had completed the comeback, crushing a two-run homer in the eighth to give them a 9-8 lead, but Georgia’s Brennan Hudson answered in the ninth with a RBI single to tie it.
That’s when Jackson hit the moonshot, his 31st of the season, backpedaling to first slowly to make sure his work of art stayed fair as Foley Field erupted. They proceeded to slam the door shut in the bottom half to win it.
UGA will play the winner of No. 6 Texas and No. 11 Oregon next Saturday in the first round of the MCWS.
BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK HOMERS FOR MISSISSIPPI STATE

Mississippi State just launched three straight home runs in the seventh inning to turn this into a one-run game.
It started with Ace Reese crushing a solo shot to right field. Noah Sullivan followed with a homer of his own, and Jacob Parker completed the back-to-back-to-back barrage with another blast over the fence.

What looked like a comfortable Georgia lead has suddenly become a nail-biter. With Mississippi State's offense erupting, this game is now up for grabs as both teams battle for control of the Athens Super Regional.

Georgia and Mississippi State are facing off in Game 2 of the Athens Super Regional. Georgia leads the series 1-0 after Saturday's back-and-forth offensive showdown.

Mississippi State answered when Kevin Milewski launched a two-run homer to put the Bulldogs on the board.
However, Georgia's offense has stayed on the gas, scoring at least one run in every inning so far entering the sixth inning. The Dawgs are also getting a stellar performance from veteran right-hander Caden Aoki who has tallied eight punch outs entering the sixth inning.
Georgia sits four innings away from retuning to Omaha for the first time since 2008. ;
